With a capacity to host from 20 to 250 guests, our venue provides the perfect setting for a variety of occasions.
Built in 1900 by George M. Bennett and later purchased by Illinois Senator Edward C. Curtis in 1919, The Bennett-Curtis House is an 18-room mansion brimming with charm and history. Set on sprawling grounds shaded by 100-year-old maples, the property features bubbling fountains, sweeping lawns, lush ferns, and vibrant flowers, creating a picturesque backdrop for your event. Inside, the mansion boasts beautifully detailed crown molding, oak trims, inlaid wood floors, moiré cloth-covered walls, stained glass, and luxurious velvet drapery. Every corner is thoughtfully designed to exude elegance and character, making it an ideal location for your wedding ceremony, reception, dinner party, shower, or any special event. We look forward to helping you plan your event in this truly unique and historical setting.   • Shrimp Scampi & NY Strip: A combination of succulent shrimp scampi and tender New York strip steak, served with twice-baked potato and glazed carrots +$15
